Recipe: Simple Apple Berry Dessert Everyone Can Enjoy
Eating berries every day is a great way to get the power of anti-oxidants into your body.
Apple berry is a really great combination. And, sprinkling a small amount of nuts or seeds to the recipe adds a real nutrient punch with fiber and healthy fats.
Berries are low glycemic. They digest more slowly than other fruits. Plus, they are packed with antioxidants that fight disease. “Berries are the healthiest fruit,” according Dr. Michael Greger from nutritionfacts.org.
And, Joel Fuhrman, MD makes berries the second B in his G-BOMBS. G-BOMBS are Dr. Fuhrman’s formula for excellent daily nutrition. This means eat some every day for optimum health.
